Nanomedicine & antibiotic resistance: a workshop for exchanges

NAREB workshop on "Nanomedicine & antibiotic resistance" was held in the beautiful and stimulating Residencia de Estudiantes in Madrid on the 17th of November 2017.

This workshop gathered 40 researchers to learn and discuss antibiotic resistance, targeted nanomedicine, the use of the nanotechnologies to fight infectious diseases and other diseases, as well as pre-clinical models to test nanomedicines.

It was also and opportunity for the coordinators of three EU-Funded projects on nanomedicine and antibiotic resistance (FORMAMP, NAREB and PneumoNP) to present their success and difficulties in developing nanomedicine for antibiotic-resistant infectious diseases.

This day was characterized by numerous interesting exchanges between researchers and learning opportunities for students.

The NAREB project has received funding from the European Union’s Seventh Framework Programme for research, technological development and demonstration under grant agreement no 604237.
